Lionsgate Bought “Chaos Walking” Film Rights

Entertainment company Lionsgate have bought the film rights to the teen book series Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness. Lionsgate are the company behind the upcoming Hunger Games film adaptation and indeed many news outlets have today led with suggestions that Ness’ dystopian series might be the “next Hunger Games“.

The adaptation will be produced by Doug Davison (How to Train Your DragonThe Grudge) and his label Quadrant Pictures.

About the ‘Chaos Walking’ Books

The thrilling and terrifically written first book in the trilogy, The Knife of Never Letting Go is set in the New World and follows young teenage boy Todd Hewitt.
